Southern Home Services is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to support the lead installer in residential HVAC system installations, upgrades, and replacements. You will ensure high-quality customer experiences, follow safety standards, and maintain organized tools and equipment.

Responsibilities include assisting with installations, protecting client property, meeting schedules and on-call hours, and working in tight spaces and various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to work in attics, crawl spaces, and tight spaces under various weather conditions.
• Able to read and write effectively for clear communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HVAC Lead Install Technician with installation, upgrades, and replacements of HVAC systems in residential properties.
• Ensure compliance with service standards and customer specifications; conduct checks to prevent callbacks.
• Maintain tools, parts, and the vehicle in a clean and organized manner; protect client property with floor savers and drop cloths.
• Meet scheduled appointments and on-call hours; perform work in tight spaces and varying heights.
• Handle physical tasks including lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds; work safely on ladders and scaffolds.
