Southern Home Services is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to support the Lead Install Technician with residential installations, upgrades, and replacements. You will help ensure a high-quality customer experience and maintain safety and workmanship standards.

This role requires physical work, access to attics or crawl spaces, a valid driver's license, and a collaborative mindset. EPA certification is a plus, with training provided to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, upgrades, and replacements of HVAC systems.
• Perform checks to prevent callbacks and ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety standards and protect client property.
• Maintain tools, parts, and vehicle in an organized manner.
• Meet scheduled appointments and on-call hours; complete work on time.
• Work in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces) and in various weather conditions.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds (50–100 pounds occasionally).
• Work on scaffolds and ladders at varying heights; follow safety protocols.
