Job summary

Barker's Heating & Cooling is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our HVAC Service team and train toward becoming an HVAC Technician. This full-time, in-person role offers hands-on installation experience, working alongside the best installers in the industry, and opportunities for commissions based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC
• Good communicator with a strong customer service focus
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with installers on residential and light commercial HVAC projects
• Receive hands-on training in installation
• Assist with parts, tools, delivery and installation at job site
• Operate hand and power tools as required
• Assist to install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements and manufacturer specifications

What you will do:

• Work side-by-side the BEST installers in the industry!
• Receive hands-on-training in residential and light commercial HVAC installation
• Assist with parts, tools, delivery, installation at job site
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, requiring dexterity and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Assist to install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - 16.00 per hour + opportunity for commissions

Work Location: In person
