Job summary

Paschal Heating and Air Conditioning Co., Inc. is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to join our team in a hands-on role. You will assist lead technicians with residential and light commercial HVAC installations, learn system operation, and adhere to safety standards.

The position focuses on learning the trade, delivering quality workmanship, and providing excellent customer service in a structured, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Desire to be part of a winning team.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of equipment, tools and methods used in HVAC installations.
• Knowledge of safety practices for electrical work.
• Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of HVAC equipment following lead technicians and supervisors’ directions.
• Adhere to work plans, tasks, schedules, and quality control tests.
• Document actions by completing records and installation paperwork.
• Learn operating principles of HVAC systems and OSHA standards.
• Gain knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in installation in residential and light commercial buildings.
• Deliver excellent customer service and sustain high customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with leads and supervisors regarding questions or problems.
• Maintain organized and clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
