Job summary

Champion Home Services in Bulverde, TX is seeking an installer helper to assist with HVAC system installations, read blueprints, handle tools, and keep job sites clean. You will work under a lead installer and learn safety procedures while supporting project completion.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and willingness to learn. Prior HVAC/construction experience is preferred; EPA certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC trade school or vocational training is a plus.
• EPA certification or willingness to obtain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and accessories.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment for job sites.
• Use hand and power tools to support installation work.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site during and after each project.
• Follow instructions from lead installer and supervisors.
• Learn to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and install manuals.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures.
• Represent the company in a professional manner on customer properties.
• Assist with equipment start-up and job completion tasks.
