Job summary

Grapids Home Services LLC in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to support licensed technicians with setting up and installing heating and air conditioning systems in homes and businesses. This field-based role offers hands-on training and growth opportunities.

You'll assist with installation, measurement, wiring, and equipment prep, while following safety regulations and building codes. A high school diploma and drivers license are required; travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrollment in HVAC apprenticeship or trade program preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC installers with setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems.
• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas; measure, cut, drill, and assemble.
• Follow blueprints and safety regulations; ensure work meets codes.
• Maintain clean, safe job sites and document work performed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers; participate in training and safety meetings.
