Job summary

Streitz is seeking a dependable HVAC installer assistant to support installation projects in Minnesota. You will help install equipment, move materials from warehouse to job sites, and ensure timely completion with high craftsmanship.

Attention to safety, ability to lift heavy items, and strong communication are essential. Prior experience with basic hand tools is useful, and a valid driver’s license is required for jobsite travel.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50+ pounds and work in tight spaces.
• Communicate clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of HVAC equipment.
• Deliver materials from warehouse to jobsite on time.
• Complete installations with attention to quality and service.
• Follow directions from the lead installer and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and schedule required maintenance.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth project flow.

Essential Job Duties

• Assist with installation of HVAC equipment
• Deliver materials and equipment from warehouse to jobsite on time
• Complete installations in a timely manner while maintaining world class service and craftsmanship
• Follow direction of jobsite lead installer
• Understand and follow all procedures as well as demonstrate our Core Values
• Maintain a clean company vehicle while also scheduling all regular required maintenance
• Respectfully work with coordinators, managers, and other in-house staff to ensure smooth operation for completed and incomplete jobs
• Adhere to Streitz safety standards while driving and on jobsites

Job Requirements

• Demonstrates Streitz core values at a high level (T.R.U.E.)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving and criminal record
• Familiar with using basic hand tools on jobsites
• Able to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in small spaces
• Must be highly detailed and demonstrate the ability to follow through
• Highly motivated, flexible, and great attitude on life
• Demonstrates the ability to learn and become a lead installer
• Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
• Ontime and prepared to work before the scheduled start time
• Work towards getting 1 of the 4 comp cards. Warm air ventilation comp card.
