Blaze Heating Cooling Electrical Plumbing Generators is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to advance residential installation work in the Raleigh area. You will lead on-site installations, coordinate parts, and ensure quality workmanship for each project.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training in a top-tier service environment.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Valid local driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record.
• Ability to work with crew partners and independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC installations with attention to detail and quality.
• Collaborate with teammates and other departments to optimize processes.
• Drive and maintain company vehicles for safety and efficiency.
• Analyze work orders, follow schedules, address customer concerns, and solve problems.
• Provide guidance to assistants and apprentices and share knowledge.
• Keep tools and equipment up to date and maintain HVAC code knowledge.

What you will DO:

• Perform HVAC installations with attention to detail and quality.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize processes and ensure seamless operations.
• Drive and maintain company vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedules, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems.
• Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information.
• For each installation job, request necessary parts & equipment needed in advance and verify truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete it.
• Document work performed in accordance with company procedure.
• Provide guidance to assistants or apprentices and share knowledge.
• Keep personal tools and equipment operable and up to date.
• Maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.

What you NEED:

• Must be 21 or older.
• At least five (5) years of residential HVAC installation experience and knowledge.
• Valid local driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background record and motor vehicle record.
• Ability to work synergistically with crew partner(s), also independently and accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
