Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least six years' experience as a licensed journeyman HVAC mechanic or master HVAC contractor OR four years' experience as an HVAC Inspector I.
• Must possess valid driver's license and maintain required licensure/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Independently inspects HVAC installations.
• Verifies license compliance for HVAC contractors, mechanics, and apprentices.
• Consults with architects, engineers, HVAC contractors, builders, and homeowners regarding HVAC code requirements.
• Investigates issues and reports code violations.
