Job summary

N&S Supply in Fishkill, NY is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to support the Outside Sales team with quotes, orders, and customer communications. You will learn the Plumbing, Heating & HVAC products we sell and assist customers at the counter.

The role includes handling quotes, specs, and bids, providing product availability and pricing, and contributing to a team that values growth. Full-time with benefits and a competitive hourly pay range is offered.

Qualifications

• HVAC and plumbing experience required.
• Proficient in basic computer and email skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Be a team player and capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Outside Sales team write up customer quotes and orders.
• Work with the sales team to gather information, appropriate sales resources, and provide job quote bids.
• Provide Spec sheets and technical information to customers as required.
• Generate new and repeat sales through leads provided via email and phone.
• Become educated on the Plumbing, Heating & HVAC products the company sells.
• Determine customer requirements for a job and provide recommendations, product availability, pricing, and quotes to the customers.
• Assist customers at the Counter by writing up and shipping/scheduling orders.
• Support the Counter team as an integral part of the team on a part time basis.
• Writing up and completing walk in orders.
• Taking customers orders over the phone.
• Shipping orders that are being picked up.
• Handling payment as required for orders.
• Be a part of the rotating Saturday schedule.
