Job Description

The HVAC Maintenance Worker is responsible for the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Responsibilities may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Install, inspect, test, operate, and repair refrigeration and related equipment for food preservation, ice making, water cooling, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation.
  2. Calibrate, repair, and maintain pneumatic control systems and related equipment.
  3. Check, service, clean, and replace filters in air handling and heating units; document maintenance activities.
  4. Clean and maintain grills, ducts, and shaft ways in A/C, ventilating, and exhaust systems.
  5. Understand and apply electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration codes; coordinate work with other trades.
  6. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and keep records.
  7. Respond to emergency repair and maintenance situations as required.
  8. Maintain critical inventory and tools needed for operations.
  9. Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers.

Qualifications
  • HVAC Certification preferred.
  • Previous HVAC experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
