Job summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking an HVAC Helper to join our team in a full-time capacity. You will support both plumbing and HVAC tasks, assisting mechanics with daily duties and projects.

The role requires OSHA 10/30 certification, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and professional conduct are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems including drainage, vent, gas and fixtures.
• Assist with installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC systems including boilers, furnaces, piping and ductwork.
• Keep the mechanics' vehicle organized and stocked with materials.
• Review and complete assigned training curriculum.
• Wear PPE and follow company guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Job description

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a HVAC Helper to join our team. The HVAC Helper will support the HVAC department by preforming Plumbing and HVAC work and assisting Plumbing / HVAC mechanics with daily tasks and projects.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the Installation, repair and maintenance of all plumbing systems including but not limited to drainage, waste, vent, gas and flue piping, fixtures, faucets, tub & shower valves and water heaters.
• Assist with the Installation, repair and maintenance of all HVAC systems including but not limited to hydronic boilers, steam boilers, hot air furnaces, air conditioning systems, piping, controls and ductwork.
• Keep the mechanics vehicle organized, stocked with material and clean.
• Review and complete assigned training curriculum.
• Have hand tools as required by the company.
• Wear PPE as established by the company guidelines
• Any other tasks as assigned manager

Compensation

Starts at $17 Hourly with no experience

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm and Saturdays as needed per job.
