Job summary

Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a full-time HVAC Foreman for our New Home Construction Division. You will oversee field personnel, ensure materials are ready at the job site, evaluate work quality, and assist with complex project installations.

You will report to the project manager based on your observations. The role emphasizes safety, directing subcontractors, and on-site training, with leadership focused on profitability and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5 years HVAC new construction experience with 2 years of leadership experience required.
• Plans and lays out work from oral and written instructions; assigns and supervises HVAC personnel.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are on the site for installs.
• Manage labor, Sobieski employees as well as Subcontractors.
• Establishes safety and work performance standards for subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and direction for field personnel; ensure materials are ready at the job site.
• Evaluate quality of work at each phase of construction and assist with complex installations.
• Report to the project manager with observations and recommendations.
• Direct subcontractors and field staff; provide on-site training on HVAC methods.
• Lead to ensure project profitability and meet deadlines.
