Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to service and maintain HVAC equipment on-site for national accounts. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on client sites, following blueprints and specifications, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Candidates should be prepared for overtime/weekends, occasional overnight travel, and providing on-site technical support and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Servicing HVAC products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Uses hand-tools, following blueprints or specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems at the customer’s location.
• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested.
• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining layout and coordinating work.
• Inspects vehicles for condition and cleanliness.
• Maintains vehicles by keeping service records and scheduling repairs.
• Maintains equipment by inspecting wear and notifying findings.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
• Represents the company as a direct customer contact.
• Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of needs.
• Records cost data per assignment and returns unused resources.
• Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Keeps current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair.
• Reads and interprets product specifications.
• Provides technical support to customers.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary.
• Regular travel requirements with some overnight travel, as needed.
