Job summary

Mechanical One is seeking an HVAC Supervisor to lead day-to-day activities on new construction residential projects in the Tampa area. You will ensure the HVAC system meets code and quality standards, while maintaining customer satisfaction throughout construction.

You will oversee field crews, verify installations, coordinate change orders, and communicate with builders and production teams to document site activities and readiness checks. Strong leadership and planning skills required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in new construction residential or commercial projects.
• 3+ years in supervisory role.
• Ability to manage HVAC scope from start to finish on projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation and ability to read construction plans.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality and code compliance through the job site team.
• Verify install per design with inspections and create punch lists.
• Manage work scope, piece rate and hourly reporting.
• Communicate change order needs to customer in a timely manner.
• Provide details for production team to document site activities.
• Improve crew efficiency through job readiness checks.
• Communicate with builder and customer representatives; attend meetings.
• Set expectations for quality and productivity with crews.
• Proactively ensure job site safety.
