Job summary

Noco Holdings LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Field Superintendent to lead on-site mechanical operations for a major multifamily new construction project in Wilmington, NC, with future travel to Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, or Raleigh, NC.

You will oversee day-to-day field activities, coordinate with project managers, supervise subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and maintain logs using company software. Strong leadership and reading blueprints are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in commercial HVAC construction and installation.
• 3+ years of direct HVAC supervisory/field leadership.
• Active driver's license and reliable truck.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and install HVAC systems from ground-break to closeout.
• Coordinate material orders, RFIs, change orders, and subcontractor labor needs with PMs.
• Lead MEP quality control and safety programs, with on-site safety meetings.
• Direct subcontractor crews and manage site logistics and material storage.
• Review MEP shop drawings, manage startups, TAB, certifications, and owner training.
• Collaborate with General Contractors, trade partners, and inspectors to pass inspections.
• Maintain real-time job logs and activity tracking with company software.

• Salary/Pay Rate: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year (plus truck allowance)
• Location: Wilmington, NC (Also accepting candidates based in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, or Raleigh, NC who are willing to travel)
• Job/Employment Type: Full-time | Monday – Friday (Weekends as needed)

The Opportunity

Noco Holdings LLC is seeking a highly motivated and proactive HVAC Field Superintendent to manage on-site mechanical operations for our expanding portfolio in the Southeast. How You Will Make An Impact

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and installation of commercial HVAC systems from initial ground-break through final commissioning and project closeout.
• Partner with Project Managers on material ordering, writing RFIs, tracking change orders, and coordinating subcontractor labor needs.
• Lead project-specific MEP quality control and safety programs, running on-site safety meetings and ensuring full compliance with safety regulations.
• Direct subcontractor crews, streamline jobsite logistics, and maintain clean, organized material storage across active work zones.
• Review MEP shop drawings and submittals, managing system start-ups, test and balance (TAB), validation certifications, and owner training.
• Collaborate closely with General Contractors, trade partners, and municipal inspectors to navigate jobsite requirements and pass all critical inspections smoothly.
• Maintain accurate, real-time job logs and activity tracking using company software systems.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 7–10+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC construction and installation experience.
• 3+ years of direct HVAC supervisory/field leadership experience (multifamily new construction strongly preferred).
• Active, valid driver’s license and a reliable truck to travel between regional job sites.
• Deep understanding of mechanical construction principles, building codes, MEP safety standards, and TAB processes.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex architectural/MEP blueprints, shop drawings, and specs.
• Strong digital literacy with the ability to navigate construction management software and mobile apps on job sites.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated background managing large-scale multifamily mechanical builds across the Southeast.
• Strong conflict resolution skills and an established track record of maintaining positive relationships with General Contractors and trade partners.
• Forward-thinking, proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate site bottlenecks and mitigate disruptions before they impact project timelines.
