Job summary

Fields Mechanical Systems, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales professional to sell commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems to owners, engineers, architects, contractors and consultants.

You will build and manage long-term customer relationships in the Springfield, MO area while traveling on the road. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering and 3+ years HVAC experience, with strong communication, negotiation, and field sales skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of HVAC sales experience preferred.
• Willingness to make sales calls and interact with customers outside of the office.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical expertise to build credibility and trust with customers.
• Identify project needs and requirements for HVAC system design and installation.
• Prepare and present bids, negotiate value, and close sales.
• Influence system design and solutions through timely estimates and proposals.
• Manage multiple HVAC projects and service offerings with customers.
• Develop partnering relationships with customers and manufacturers.
