EMCOR Services Mesa Energy in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare and coordinate full cost estimates on large, complex NAVFAC or federally funded projects. The role requires analyzing drawings, specs, and requirements to formulate quotation strategies and partnering with Estimating, Engineering, and Sales to win bids.

You will identify material and labor costs, leverage estimating documentation to build BOMs, and ensure timely, organized documentation in accordance with

Qualifications

• Experience estimating large, complex projects with NAVFAC or federal funding.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (chillers, boilers, HVAC, piping, ducts, RTUs, AHUs, VAVs).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and document-reading/technical writing.

Responsabilités

• Actively gather market intelligence for each estimating job by talking with buyers, end users, vendors, and others.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and requirements to formulate quotation strategies.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Engineering, and Sales to develop a winning strategy for quotations.
• Identify cost/availability of materials and prepare material and labor estimates.
• Learn to utilize estimating documentation and programs to prepare BOMs and labor estimates.
• Complete all documentation on time and per company policies.
