Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. in South Carolina is seeking mechanically inclined individuals for a production role assembling portable HVAC equipment, inspecting and assisting with repairs. Training is provided and teamwork is emphasized.

You'll load and unload equipment, perform touch-up painting, operate forklifts, and communicate professionally with customers and teammates while indoors and outdoors in all weather. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented opportunity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mechanical aptitude or general technical service skills are required.
• Basic plumbing and pipe-fitting knowledge is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical system principles.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machine components (pipes, electrical connections, mechanical fasteners).
• Safely load and unload HVAC equipment to/from trucks and trailers.
• Perform touch-up painting and sheet metal fabrication/ modification.
• Operate forklifts to move and organize materials indoors and outdoors.
• Wash and inspect returned equipment, reporting any damage.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
