Qualifications

• Experience must demonstrate knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the work of this position, supported by detailed resume descriptions.
• Evaluation will follow the Federal Wage System Qualification Standards and screen-out elements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and blueprints for installations, modifications, and troubleshooting.
• Operate, control, monitor and modify set points and devices using the Trane Summit computer system.
• Maintain, install, and troubleshoot refrigeration and air conditioning equipment with electric and pneumatic controls for offices, labs, and operating spaces.
• Knowledge of pumps and piping systems for chilled water, hot water, and steam with minimal supervision.
• Experience operating centrifugal air conditioning plants and steam-related controls.
