Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on building HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine corrective actions.
• Lead and assign tasks to team members while ensuring safety and on-time completion.
• Maintain compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Our client, a leading facilities management and commercial building services organization, is seeking an HVAC Engineer - Level 3 to join their team. As an HVAC Engineer - Level 3, you will be part of the Engineering & Technical Services team supporting multiple commercial facilities in Largo, St. Petersburg, and Lake Suzy, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a highly professional attitude, and excellent customer service skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$30- $35per hour

What's the Job?

• Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on building HVAC equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective actions and modifications.
• Lead and assign tasks to team members while ensuring work is completed safely and on time.
• Maintain compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience (residential-only experience will not be considered).
• Journeyman License and EPA Universal Certification.
• High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School diploma with relevant HVAC experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and tablet usage.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work in physically demanding environments, and travel between local facilities as needed.
