Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC design to support industrial projects in Akron, Ohio. The role focuses on building HVAC systems, process ventilation, clean rooms, and pressurization in hazardous areas.

You will prepare design drawings, equipment specs, and coordinate with other engineering teams and clients, with field design work included. Hybrid work arrangement with relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC engineering and design experience, industrial HVAC preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• EIT required; PE preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA, ASHRAE, OSHA, and relevant mechanical codes.
• Consulting engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with dust collection, plumbing, or fire protection is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit/Navisworks experience is a plus.
