Job summary

Nortek Air Solutions, LLC in Okarche, OK is seeking an Electrician I to assemble, install and test electrical and control systems on custom HVAC equipment. You will work with Electrical Engineering and assembly teams to establish best practices.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, knowledge of line and control voltage circuits, and the ability to run conduit and wiring following drawings and codes. Training for crane and forklift may be provided, and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics containing line and control voltage circuits.
• Knowledge of electrical codes for line and control circuits.
• Experience with electromechanical devices and controls (transformers, relays, switches, VFDs, disconnects).

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and test electrical systems on custom HVAC equipment.
• Read and train others on electrical schematics.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the electrical assembly team.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering to identify and resolve wiring issues.
• Ensure installation practices meet drawings, specifications and codes.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and operate equipment as trained (crane/forklift).
• Communicate with internal and external customers professionally.
