Job summary
AC Corporation is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join the Greensboro, NC fabrication team. You will fabricate ductwork and related equipment for commercial and industrial heating and air conditioning projects, and read construction drawings to outline installation areas.
The role requires MIG and TIG welding skills, at least 2 years of metal fabrication experience, and the ability to interpret blueprints. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for overtime.
Qualifications
- Welding experience with MIG and TIG per procedures.
- Minimum 2 years metal fabrication experience.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate ductwork, air distribution components and related equipment for commercial, industrial and institutional heating and air conditioning work.
- Locate, measure and outline installation areas from construction drawings.
- Drill holes, attach brackets, hangers and other holding devices.
- Fabricate complex fittings and ductwork for fabrication.
- Operate shop equipment such as shears, plasma cutters, grinders.
