Jennings Air and Mechanical is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic in Charleston, SC. This role involves installing sheet metal ductwork for heating and cooling systems. Responsibilities include analyzing blueprints, installing various duct types, and optimizing HVAC installations. Ideal candidates should have skills in blueprint reading, HVAC installation, and a clean background check. Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and product specifications.
• Skilled in the removal and installation of HVAC duct systems.
• Must have a clean background check.
• Preferred experience of 3 years, although we can train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints to determine the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal goods.
• Install various types of ductwork such as TDF, TDC, Slip and Drive, Spiral, and Snap-lock.
• Perform field modifications, cuts, miters, transitions, plenums, and repairs as needed.
• Optimize HVAC system installation for maximum efficiency.
• Be punctual and dependable.
