Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead HVAC design for industrial and commercial facilities. The role blends technical system design with active client consultation and cross-team collaboration, offering a direct path to leadership roles.

The position features a flexible 1st shift, base compensation up to $160,000, and a strong corporate benefits package. Relocation and travel within the Fox Valley/Northeast WI area may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with PE licensure.
• 3+ years HVAC design experience, preferably with mechanical contractors.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC load calc software and Excel.
• Strong client-facing presence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client inquiries and site requirements to define project scope.
• Design high-performance HVAC systems for commercial/industrial facilities.
• Perform heating/cooling load calculations and piping layouts.
• Develop CAD/Revit models for bidding and cost estimation.
• Prepare technical proposals and present concepts to owners and GC teams.
• Coordinate drawings and plan reviews to meet codes and standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with sales, estimating, and fabrication.
