Job summary

Responsibilities include safe driving, timely deliveries, following safety protocols, and customer-focused support to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• DOT medical certificate required prior to employment.
• CDL licenses are highly desirable.
• Minimum 1-year truck driving experience.
• Warehouse experience, including driving a forklift/appliance lift, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to the SalesCenter Manager.
• Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and verifying orders.
• Maintain daily truck maintenance checklist and report times with merchandise returns.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures; use PPE as required.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to management.
• Participate in regular safety training sessions and drills.
