Job summary

Sid Harvey Industries seeks a full-time Delivery Driver for the Crestwood, IL location. You will provide prompt customer service, accurately process orders, and safely operate company vehicles while maintaining branch cleanliness and organization.

The role requires loading/unloading, verifying received material, and reporting discrepancies to the Branch Manager. A valid IL driver’s license and 3 years of safe driving are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with 3 years of safe driving experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the state of residence.
• Must pass a driving history check and a drug test.
• Must adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Must obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate if required.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to make deliveries and stock pick-ups while obeying traffic laws.
• Load and unload trucks accurately and safely; verify quantities and quality of material.
• Check in and store materials; maintain clear aisles and organized stock.
• Assist in branch appearance and cleanliness; report discrepancies to Branch Manager.
• Perform cycle counts and participate in year-end inventories as requested.
