Job description

Overview:

Our client, a leading Energy Management Company, is looking to grow its HVAC controls team in the U.S. market! They are actively seeking HVAC controls technicians to add to their growing team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform check-out and commissioning of building automation systems.
  2. Develop programs for digital controllers for control of temperature, humidity, and pressure, and implement programs to monitor and trend the operation of mechanical and electrical building systems.
  3. Interface daily with installers, contractors, building owners, and operators; assist in troubleshooting systems with project managers or advanced systems specialists.
  4. Coordinate work with subcontractors and other building trades to ensure proper system installation and operation.
  5. Up to 50% travel out of state is required; otherwise, work remotely.
Education Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical degree in related studies preferred, but not required.
Experience Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of related industry experience.
  • Proficiency in software applications related to the HVAC industry, including Siemens, JCI, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Delta, Honeywell, Schneider, Trane, and/or KMC BAS product lines.
  • Tridium / Niagara N4 certification is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional skills in relationship management, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
