Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is representing a leading independent HVAC controls provider in North America, offering opportunities to work with Building Automation Systems across Commercial HVAC, Refrigeration, and modern controls technology.

You will join a team focused on customer relationships, troubleshooting direct digital control systems, and performing commissioning and retrofit projects. The role includes training, field support, and collaboration with technicians while utilizing

Qualifications

  • Technical training and 5+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsabilités

  • Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers
  • Maintain building automation systems by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming
  • Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians
  • Train and mentor less experienced technicians
  • Create and/or implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects
  • Commission controls installations and verify that control sequences meet scope, design, or specifications
  • Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner
  • Interact and train customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld
  • Factory Certified Training, Online Training Courses, or other professional on the job training in the Building Automation and HVAC Industry

My client is the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturers' rep in North America, with 20 locations in the US and Canada. You would become part of the best team in Commercial HVAC, Refrigeration, and of course, BMS and Industrial Controls.

What You Will Do

Minimum Qualifications
  • Technical training and 5+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in BAS, HVAC, or related industry
  • Proficiency with test instruments and calibration tools
  • Competency in operation of engineering/commissioning tools, DDC controllers and field devices, BACnet protocol fundamentals
  • Competency in the operation of HVAC equipment and controls
  • Ability to read low voltage wiring diagrams and controls flow diagrams
  • Experience with any common integration protocols such as: BACnet MST / IP, LON, Modbus TCP
