Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day field technician activities, plan monthly routes, analyze performance, and balance profitability with client satisfaction and safety.

You will lead teams, coordinate with sales for opportunities, ensure growth and service quality, recruit and develop staff, and drive improvements across HVAC operations to meet contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive operational experience in HVAC services.
• 3+ years in a management role responsible for productivity and development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of field technician teams and plan monthly routes.
• Analyze team performance and recommend changes to improve profitability, safety and client satisfaction.
• Ensure safety compliance and attainment of contractual obligations.
• Lead and develop teams, including monthly one-on-one coaching and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with sales to support opportunities and link to installation opportunities.
• Drive operational review meetings, review bids and estimates for accuracy and feasibility.
• Recruit, hire and retain staff with clear performance expectations and development plans.
