Johnson Controls is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our federal team supporting the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The role centers on HVAC building automation and Direct Digital Controls, developing sequences of operations and integrating low‑voltage subsystems.
You will configure, program, test, and validate system performance, load and commission controllers, and assist field technicians to ensure quality, timeliness, and efficiency of designs.
Our team is growing and we are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our federal team supporting the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. We have supported the Pentagon for nearly 20 years with their energy efficiency and sustainability needs, primarily related to HVAC Mechanical and HVAC Controls (Building Automation Systems).
Schedule: Primarily Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (some flexibility on start and end times).
Benefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employment.
Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 3 floating holidays, and 10 standard holidays per calendar year (6.5 weeks of paid time off in total).
Pay Range: $90,000 – $125,000 base salary plus bonus incentive.
