Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Controls Service Technician to support our Wisconsin market. The role focuses on service, repair, design, configuration, and operation of complete building control systems and related low-voltage subsystems.

You'll develop software, prepare submittals, and collaborate with Sales, Service, and subcontractors to ensure optimal performance. You will coordinate drawings, sequences, and material orders, assist in commissioning, and provide owner/training support on

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, service, or HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems.
• Experience integrating low voltage building subsystems using LON, BACnet, etc.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong CAD/CAM and drafting software skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures and services complex building control systems for customers' facilities.
• Creates flow diagrams, sequences of operations, BOMs, network layouts, schedules and electrical schematics.
• Develops and tests software for system operation per facility requirements.
• Coordinates drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
• Assists in loading, commissioning and validation of all system and network-level controllers.

Accountable for quality, timeliness and efficiency of Service & repair and designs. Develops complex software programs, commissioning and solving to ensure proper operations of the building control system.
