Job summary

Cochran, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer (HVAC Controls) for our Portland office to coordinate and execute project operations.

The role focuses on HVAC controls, DDC, and BAS installations in commercial electrical projects, coordinating with mechanical, controls, and electrical teams to support design, installation, commissioning and delivery. The candidate will assist with administrative tasks, maintain schedules, ensure documentation quality, and help keep projects compliant with company

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a two-year college or university certificate is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; fluent in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic project management apps.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with trades to align efforts and manage documentation.
• Maintain and track project submittals, schedules, and O&M manuals.
• Prepare and submit change orders as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor QA procedures and document QA logs.
