QUANTUM BUILDING SOLUTIONS, INC. is seeking an HVAC Controls Installation Technician to join our Richardson, TX team. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage and predictable hours, with overtime available as needed.

Workdays are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential overtime to support project timelines. Join a rapidly growing company expanding across the Dallas–Fort Worth market.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience installing HVAC controls or similar systems.
• Experience with BAS/BMS, sensors, and field devices preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and construction docs.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC controls, BAS/BMS panels, sensors, thermostats, and actuators.
• Route, terminate, and test low-voltage control wiring.
• Install conduit, cable trays, and control components per plans.
• Support equipment startup, system checkout, and commissioning.
• Read electrical drawings and mechanical blueprints.
• Collaborate with HVAC installers, electricians, and controls specialists.

$30-$45 per hour, depending on experience

Full-Time | Richardson, TX Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM | Overtime available as needed

What You'll Be Working On

• Installing HVAC controls, BAS/BMS panels, sensors, thermostats, actuators, and other field devices
• Routing, terminating, and testing low-voltage control wiring
• Installing conduit, cable tray systems, and control components according to project plans
• Supporting equipment startup, system checkout, and commissioning activities
• Reading electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints
• Working alongside HVAC installers, electricians, and controls specialists to keep projects moving
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship while following company standards and applicable codes

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience installing HVAC controls, low-voltage systems, or commercial electrical systems
• Experience working with Building Automation Systems, control panels, controllers, sensors, and field devices preferred
• The ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction documents
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
