We have an immediate opening for an experienced Building Automation / HVAC Controls Design Technician. We seek a Design Technician for HVAC Controls to prepare detailed wiring diagrams and system flow drawings for Building Automation systems and identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare diagrams and layout for control panels
• Review and modify designs to reduce installation time
• Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
• Coordinate with colleagues regarding complex diagrams

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HVAC or related field
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with CAD or related software
• Deadline- and detail-oriented

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of temperature control systems, HVAC, electronics, computer systems, or networked applications
• Experience with systems/software such as Andover Controls, Johnson Controls, Reliable, CSI, TAC, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Delta Controls or Alerton is a plus
