Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an HVAC Programmer for its McGregor, Texas facility. The role involves developing and integrating HVAC applications into the technical infrastructure and business processes, delivering a complete programming package to the System Manager/Team, and training technicians on interaction with control systems.

The ideal candidate will contribute to reliability improvements for critical facilities and support the installation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience programming HVAC controls.
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical systems and/or control systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up processes to write all programs and virtual points
• Work with engineers and HVAC lead to produce controller and graphical software
• Incorporate third‑party software into the design of building Environmental Control Automation Systems
• Identify and obtain components to network building automation system workstations
• Configure software to network workstations
• Set up test systems to test all programming before field release
• Create functional test checkout sheets for Specialist checkout books
• Provide technical support before, during and after system installation
• Provide recommendations to engineering and technical teams to improve reliability of Environmental Control Automation Systems
• Provide in-house software support and assist in maintenance of existing system software
• Provide onsite assistance at critical facilities with functional testing as required
• Perform administrative duties such as expense reports, documentation of issues and time spent, writing weekly reports, acquiring vendor quotes, submitting purchase orders
