SpaceX is seeking an HVAC Programmer to join our Starbase facilities team. You will develop and integrate new or existing applications into our controls infrastructure and simulate and test programming in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC control strategies, strong problem-solving, and the ability to train technicians on interaction with control systems while supporting continued reliability of critical systems.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with HVAC, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical systems and control systems.
High school diploma or equivalency certificate.

Responsabilités

Set up processes to write all programs and virtual points.
Work with engineers and HVAC lead to produce controller and graphical software meeting expectations.
Incorporate third party software into building environmental control automation designs.
Identify and obtain components to network the building automation system workstations; configure networking software.
Set-up virtual/physical test system to test all programming prior to release to the field.
Create functional test checkout sheets for specialist checkout books.
Provide technical support before, during and after system installation.
Provide recommendations to engineering/technical teams to improve reliability of automation systems.
Provide in-house software support and assist in maintenance of existing system software.
Onsite assistance at critical facilities with functional testing as required.
Perform administrative duties such as expense reports and time spent on tasks.
