We're seeking reliable and skilled HVAC Chiller Technicians to deliver efficient and dependable cooling solutions in this rapidly evolving sector. Whether you’re an experienced HVAC technician or a journeyman looking to expand your expertise, this position offers a unique opportunity to be part of an industry shift and a pathway for professional development. The Ideal candidate will sit in Twin Falls, Pocatello, or Idaho Falls.

What you’ll do:

1. Participate in startup and commissioning of new units, applying expertise to support a state-of-the-art facility.
2. Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions, and execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units.
3. Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents, including blueprints and diagrams.
4. Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure timely escalation of issues for resolution when necessary.
5. Prioritize safety by adhering to licensing requirements, operating equipment safely, recognizing HVAC-related hazards, completing safety training, and implementing effective safety measures.

Required:

1. Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
2. Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
3. Must Have EPA Refrigerant Certification.
4. 5+ years working experience in the HVAC Industry.
5. 3+ years working with chillers.
6. Must pass examination regarding the abilities and know-how of Building Trades Journeyman, conducted by an Examining Board.
7. Must be able to lift 50lbs and able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods.
8. Must be a current union member or willing to join a union.

Valued, but not required:

1. OSHA 30 Certification.
2. Basic understanding of building automation controls (BOMAC).
3. Experience with data centers.
4. Experience with Steam Turbines.
5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
6. Knowledge of ServiceMax.
