Veterans Prime, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Journeyman Chiller Mechanic to support commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, maintenance, and safe operation, with strong opportunities for career growth.

You will perform maintenance on air- and water-cooled chillers, work with BAS integration, mentor junior technicians, and contribute to energy efficiency and reliability. DOE applies for compensation, with a first-year target between $60k and $100k.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mechanical troubleshooting in HVAC/R.
• Deep familiarity with water chillers and refrigeration.
• EPA license (Universal) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced maintenance on air-cooled and water-cooled chiller systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex malfunctions using refrigeration principles and electrical schematics.
• Manage chiller/BAS integration and overall system performance.
• Maintain boilers, pumps, and auxiliary equipment while mentoring junior technicians.
