Qualifications

- Valid 1st Class Stationary Engineer License required.
- EPA 608 certification is mandatory.

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a HVAC Chiller Mechanicto operate and maintain our large chilled water system and ensure optimal system performance. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Facilities Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.The HVAC Chiller Mechanicwill manage seasonal operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain system documentation while assisting the Facilities Department as needed.Job Responsibilities:- Operate and manage complex industrial chiller systems, including centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chillers, with responsibility for maximizing equipment life and efficiency
- Monitor and optimize system performance using advanced building management systems (BMS), analyzing trends and implementing predictive maintenance strategies
- Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance, including precision alignment, vibration analysis, and oil analysis to ensure equipment reliability
- Execute seasonal cooling tower operations, including shutdown procedures, chemical treatment programs, and winterization protocols to prevent equipment damage
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and local codes while maintaining all required documentation
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation systems for operations, maintenance procedures, and equipment specifications
- Design and implement energy conservation measures, including load shifting and optimal start/stop strategies
- Support general facility operations including emergency response, mechanical room maintenance, and cross-training other personnel
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs while managing associated costs
- Perform water treatment testing and chemical adjustments to maintain proper water chemistry in closed-loop systems
- Conduct regular infrared scanning and ultrasonic testing to identify potential equipment issues before failure
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in HVAC or mechanical engineering required
- Minimum 5 years experience as Stationary Engineer, HVAC Chiller mechanicor similar role required
- Valid 1st Class Stationary Engineer License/HVAC Chiller MechanicLicense or equivalent and EPA 608 certification required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
