Job summary

The Klotz Group of Companies in Norton Acres, GA seeks a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair issues across multifamily properties. You will complete work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety standards and code compliance.

Qualifications include HVAC certification, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Rent Manager. Strong focus on efficient, cost-conscious upkeep of units and common areas.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver’s License.
• 1+ years of experience in Multifamily.
• HVAC Certification.
• Must be enthusiastic, creative, and able to think both strategically and tactically.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Office Suite tools.
• Property Management Software, Rent Manager is a huge plus!

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance on the property while diagnosing the defect and making repairs in line with policy, safety standards, and code.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and supplies.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to properly document and track service requests.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting curb and signage.
