Job summary

Tempe Mechanical is seeking an HVAC CAD Inputter for its corporate office in Tempe, AZ, with travel to job sites in the Greater Phoenix Area. The role focuses on accurately entering ductwork and HVAC components into CAD/CAM software for fabrication and coordination.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD drafting for HVAC ductwork and components.
Ability to read mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, duct types, and fabrication methods.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

Responsibilities

Input HVAC duct systems into CAD/CAM software from design drawings or field markups.
Build and modify 2D/3D models to meet project requirements and fabrication standards.
Ensure accuracy of dimensions, materials, connectors, gauges, seams, and reinforcement.
Prepare shop drawings, fabrication files, and material lists.
Coordinate with shop foreman and fabrication teams.
Maintain revision control and organized file structures.
Review plans for completeness and identify discrepancies.
