Job summary

Modigent seeks a CAD Designer - HVAC to develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and spooling, coordinating with operations, PMs, engineers, and fabrication teams to meet project goals.

The role requires 2–5+ years of HVAC CAD design experience, an associate degree or technical training, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, CADmep or Fabrication CAMduct.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of HVAC CAD design experience.
• Associate degree or technical training in CAD or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, CADmep, or Fabrication CAMduct.
• Office-based with occasional field visits.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with HVAC Operations, Project Managers, Engineers, and Fabrication teams.
• Produce ductwork, piping, hangers, and spooling layouts.
• Maintain drawing standards and project databases.
• Review drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Provide guidance to junior designers.
