Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of five-year HVAC trade school with a certificate or equivalent experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred; professional license preferred.
• Above average math and ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose and repair units using hand-tools per blueprints or specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, and modifications as requested.
• Prepare for on-site installation by examining layout and coordinating work.
• Document work with daily time, progress notes, and cost data.
• Maintain company equipment, tools, and part inventory; mentor apprentices as needed.
• Work overtime/weekends/on-call rotation and adhere to safety requirements.
