Job summary
Uhl Company Inc is seeking a trainee for HVAC Building Automation Technician, with on-the-job training to develop into a HVAC Building Automation Technician. You will serve as the company contact, diagnosing and repairing equipment at customer sites while representing Uhl Company and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The role includes on-site programming, installation, and coordination with account managers and service staff.
Qualifications
- Background check required.
- At least 2 years of technical and/or field-related experience.
- State MN PLT license is a huge plus; HVAC knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers, owners, contractors, and staff on-site.
- Coordinate with service department to understand on-site programming, installation and repairs.
- Create/download programming, startup, testing and troubleshooting for projects.
- Enforce safety standards on all sites.
- Provide technical guidance to diagnose control system concerns.
