University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is seeking a skilled Building Automation Systems (BAS) technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC components across campus facilities. Under general supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, ensure safe operation, and align with Joint Commission requirements.
You will work with various staff, read technical manuals, and utilize tools for precise measurements and component replacements to sustain high reliability of the BAS and
Competenze
- Knowledge of maintaining heating/air conditioning systems and BAS components.
- Ability to apply general principles of pressure, humidity, vaporization and conduction related to air, gases, and liquids.
- Knowledge of refrigerants and safe handling practices.
- Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices and precision instruments correctly.
- Experience with soldering/brazing using oxyacetylene equipment.
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals and instructions accurately.
- Good verbal communication to work with management and staff.
