The ideal candidate has brazing experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with hand and power tools, with a High School diploma.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing of copper tubing using an LPG/oxygen torch.
• Complete mechanical and electrical assembly and sub-assembly tasks.
• Use hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools to complete production duties.
• Read and follow schematics and manufacturing specs.
• Inspect braze joints and assemblies for quality.
• Maintain organized, safe work area and follow ISO procedures.

The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a HVAC Brazer to work at a company located in the Pompano, FL area!Job Title: HVAC BrazerJob Location: PompanoPay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $18.50/hour M-F 7am – 4pmJob Description:The Brazer / Production Assembler is responsible for performing repetitive workstation and production-line assembly operations to manufacture components and assemble them into completed units. This position requires strong mechanical ability, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to braze copper tubing using an LPG/oxygen torch while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.Main Responsibilities* Perform brazing of copper tubing using an LPG/oxygen torch as part of the manufacturing and assembly process.* Complete mechanical and electrical assembly and sub-assembly operations.* Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electrical tools to complete assigned production tasks.* Read and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.* Inspect brazed connections and assembled components to ensure they meet required quality standards.* Report defective materials, equipment issues, or questionable conditions to the Team Leader and/or Senior Production Supervisor.* Maintain awareness of parts, materials, and supplies stored on the production floor.* Complete assigned tasks according to manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.* Follow all prescribed safety procedures and ISO requirements.* Ensure units are assembled to established quality and production standards.* Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.Qualifications & Experience* Previous brazing experience strongly preferred.* Must be able to braze copper tubing using an LPG/oxygen torch.* Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with hand and power tools.* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and/or blueprints.* Previous manufacturing, production, mechanical assembly, HVAC, refrigeration, or similar hands-on experience preferred.* Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.* High School Diploma or equivalent required.Behavioral Requirements* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.* Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.* Strong organizational skills.* Ability to maintain a positive and productive work environment.* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.* Safety-conscious with high ethical and professional standards.The JobSquad Solutions Team is made up of experts around the country.
