Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Project Specialist to contribute to BIM coordination and HVAC design for a wide range of building projects.

You will deliver accurate, constructible models and drawings using Revit and related BIM tools, translating engineering concepts into buildable solutions. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers, developing Revit models, performing HVAC calculations, and supporting documentation from concept through

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree required.
• Open to EIT or Designer-track individuals.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, or other design software.
• Exposure to HVAC systems, BIM workflows, or construction processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Pay range for this position is $60,000 to $95,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• HVAC System Design: support design and layout of HVAC systems for various building types with accurate engineering analysis.
• BIM Modeling & Construction Documentation: develop and maintain Revit models and documents; prepare plans and diagrams; resolve clashes.
• Project Coordination & Collaboration: collaborate with engineers, architects, designers; participate in meetings; support project execution.
• Continuous Learning & Professional Growth: expand technical knowledge through mentoring, training, and self-directed learning.
