Job summary
UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks an experienced Automation Integration Specialist to support building automation and HVAC controls. You will manage the Siemens Apogee database, back up systems, and guide technicians in advanced automation.
Requirements include 5+ years in HVAC DDC, Siemens Apogee experience, and strong communication skills. A Texas driver's license is required, with an associate degree preferred.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of advanced experience with HVAC DDC controls and related HVAC systems.
- Experience with Siemens Apogee Building Automation System and integration of automation control systems.
- Strong knowledge of programming complex, integrated systems and communications protocols.
- Experience with BACnet and/or Modbus.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Associate degree in Electronic Technology or completion of a manufacturer's temperature-controls course preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manages backups and restores a Siemens Apogee Automation Database.
- Identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies with upgrades, programming, or automation optimization.
- Mentors and teaches technicians in advanced HVAC controls operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
